With the onset of autumn, tomatoes that have not had time to ripen can become the basis of an original and tasty snack. The Emerald Snack for the winter will certainly appeal to lovers of spicy dishes.
It is necessary
- 6 large green bell peppers;
- 6 large green bitter peppers;
- 2.5 kg of green tomatoes;
- 300 g of garlic;
- 1 bunch of dill, basil and parsley;
- A glass of vinegar 9%;
- salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the green tomatoes into wedges, and the bell peppers into thin strips. Put the chopped vegetables in an enamel bowl, salt a little harder than usually salted to taste. Stir well and let the vegetables stand for about half an hour.
Step 2
In another dish, mince the peeled garlic, hot pepper and herbs through a meat grinder. In this mass, it is necessary to drain the resulting juice from a bowl of tomatoes. Add vinegar and combine with the sliced portion of the snack. Mix everything well again and let it brew for another half hour.
Spread the vegetable mixture in clean jars, without reporting a little to the top of the jar. Then pour the juice equally, and close the jars with nylon lids, put the appetizer in a dark place for about two weeks. After a couple of weeks, the snack can be served.
