  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of whiskey (you can without it),
  • - salt and black pepper to taste.
  • For the sauce.
  • - 250 grams of chopped tomatoes in their own juice,
  • - 100 ml of whiskey (without it),
  • - 100 ml maple syrup
  • - 1 shallot onion,
  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of balsamic vinegar,
  • - 1 teaspoon of venture sauce,
  • - 1-2 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil
  • - salt and black pepper to taste.
  • For filing.
  • - 6-8 burger buns,
  • - 100 grams of cheddar,
  • - 2 sweet tomatoes,
  • - lettuce leaves.

Instructions

Step 1

For cutlets. Finely chop the onion and cilantro, mix with minced meat, soft butter, whiskey (optional), water, season with salt and pepper to taste (you can add your favorite spices). Place the minced meat in a cool place or just to the side while the sauce is cooking.

Step 2

For the sauce. Finely chop the shallots (you can take a regular onion), fry in hot olive oil. Add whiskey to the onion, stir, cook for two minutes over low heat, then add the remaining sauce ingredients to the onion pan. Boil the sauce, stirring for 15 minutes, it should thicken. Remove sauce from heat, season with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Cut the burger buns lengthwise, place the slices down on the grill, brown a little.

Form the minced meat into cutlets with a diameter larger than a bun. Place patties on a buttered grill, sauté for five minutes, then turn over. After two minutes, place a slice of cheese on each cutlet. Fry for another three minutes. You can fry cutlets in a pan.

Step 5

Put a leaf of lettuce on half of the bun, then the cutlet with cheese, pour over the sauce, put a circle of tomato and a leaf of lettuce. Cover with the other half of the bun, squeeze a little and serve.
