It is necessary

  • - low baking dish;
  • - parchment;
  • - stewpan;
  • - hazelnuts 125 g;
  • - almonds 125 g;
  • - dried apricots 100 g;
  • - figs 100 g;
  • - brown sugar 100 g;
  • - wheat flour 60 g;
  • - cocoa powder 40 g;
  • - butter 5 g;
  • - lemon zest 2 teaspoons;
  • - ground cinnamon 2 teaspoons;
  • - ground ginger 0.5 teaspoon;
  • - honey 200 g;
  • - icing sugar 40 g.

Instructions

Step 1

Fry the hazelnuts in a skillet, place in a towel and rub to remove the husks. Chop the almonds coarsely and cut the dried fruits into small pieces. Combine all ingredients and add finely chopped lemon zest. Toss flour with ginger, cinnamon and cocoa. Add the resulting mixture to nuts and dried fruits and stir.

Step 2

In a small saucepan, mix the honey and sugar and heat the mixture over low heat until the sugar is completely dissolved, stirring constantly. Bring the mixture to a boil. Pour the hot syrup into the nuts and dried fruit and stir quickly. Act quickly, as the resulting mass thickens.

Step 3

Take a baking dish, line it with baking paper and brush with a little butter. Spoon the dough out and flatten with a spoon. Put the pie in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes at 150 degrees. Cool the finished cake in a mold and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
