Prepare boiled pork as an appetizer on the festive table. Take a weighty piece of pork, back or neck, wash, strip off excess fat and films. Mash the garlic with salt and pepper and rub the meat with this mixture. Take spices to taste. Use a sharp knife to make pockets in a piece and stick garlic cloves and pieces of bacon into each.
Soak the meat overnight in a cold place, then put it in a preheated oven, originally this dish was cooked in a Russian oven. Fry meat at 200 degrees for as long as it weighs. Check the cooked pork for readiness with a fork, the fork easily enters the finished meat, while light juice is released.
You can serve boiled pork both cold and hot. A hot dish can be garnished with: soaked lingonberries, steamed prunes, pickled plums, baked apples, whole medium-sized potatoes fried.
Step 2
A good alternative to boiled pork is fried lamb ham. Take the upper part of the hind leg for 1.5-2 kg, one head of garlic, melted lamb fat or butter, spices to taste. Prepare the meat - wash, remove excess fat and film, fill it with chopped garlic.
Pepper a piece, salt, put on a sheet or a large frying pan, put in a hot oven and fry until crispy at 250 degrees, then reduce the temperature to 150 degrees and bring the meat to readiness. During cooking, turn the piece over every 15-20 minutes and pour over the melted fat. If not enough, add water or broth. Cool the cooked meat, cut into portions and place on a dish.
Step 3
The decoration of the festive table will be a very tasty and original dish, which is recommended to be served with extinguished overhead light - "Dance of Fire". One serving will need 200 grams of beef, pork or lamb meat, one onion, a packet of asparagus, 50 grams of fresh cucumbers, half a tomato, you can replace it with tomato paste, salt, pepper, salad oil.
Cut the meat into small cubes, cover the asparagus with hot water, let it swell. Fry the meat in hot salad oil, at the end of frying add chopped onions, hot peppers to taste. When the meat is ready, put it on a dish, add the asparagus and diced cucumber, pour the broth with grated tomato and a little alcohol (brandy). Serve the dish on the festive table and set it on fire for a few minutes. When the flames have gone out, you can start your meal.
