It is necessary

  • - peeled almonds - 100 g;
  • - flour - 3 tablespoons;
  • - orange peel - 2 tablespoons;
  • - fine salt - 0.25 teaspoon;
  • - sugar - 125 g;
  • - cream - 2 tablespoons;
  • - corn syrup - 2 tablespoons;
  • - butter - 100 g;
  • - vanilla extract - 0.5 teaspoon;
  • - dark chocolate - 100 g.

Instructions

Step 1

Grind the almonds until fine crumbs. After this procedure, combine it with the following ingredients: salt, grated orange peel, and wheat flour. Mix everything as it should.

Step 2

Using a small saucepan, add the following: granulated sugar, butter, cream and corn syrup. Put the resulting mixture on fire and wait for the sugar to completely dissolve. Once this happens, cook the mass for another minute.

Step 3

Add vanilla extract and dry nut mixture to the finished sugar syrup. Mix all ingredients thoroughly together. Set the resulting mass aside for about 30 minutes - it should cool.

Step 4

After the time has elapsed, gently place the cooled almond dough on a baking sheet, previously covered with parchment, in the form of small cakes. It is more convenient to do this procedure using a teaspoon. Press the dough into circles. Do not forget to leave some distance between the future Florentine cookies.

Step 5

After preheating the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees, bake future cookies in it for 7-8 minutes.

Step 6

While baking is being prepared, turn the dark chocolate into a homogeneous mass, that is, melt. This can be done either with a water bath or with a microwave oven.

Step 7

Remove the baked goods from the oven and place them on the parchment paper. Once it has cooled down, gently dab the melted chocolate onto the underside of the treat using a knife. Florentine biscuits are ready!
