Brussels sprouts are vegetables that contain a lot of nutrients. Westphalian Brussels sprouts is a healthy, light and tasty dish. The main thing is not to overcook the cabbage, it needs to be boiled for no more than 5 minutes in order to preserve its native color and a pleasant crunch.
It is necessary
- For four servings:
- - 500 g of Brussels sprouts;
- - a glass of milk;
- - 4 sausages;
- - 1 egg;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of butter;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of wheat flour;
- - nutmeg.
Instructions
Step 1
Place the cabbage in lightly salted water and cook for 5 minutes, covering the pan with a lid.
Step 2
Cut the sausages into thin slices.
Step 3
Drain about half of the broth from the cabbage - you will need it to make the sauce.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.
Step 5
At 1 st. a spoonful of butter, fry the wheat flour until golden brown. Gradually add vegetable broth and milk. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 6
Remove the sauce from the stove, beat in an egg, add sugar and salt to taste. Season with a pinch of nutmeg and mix thoroughly.
Step 7
Place the cabbage with the sausages in a baking dish, pour over the sauce. Cook in the oven for 15 minutes.
