This hearty Russian dish is reminiscent of the taste of childhood. It is lean and very easy to prepare. The necessary ingredients are found in almost every home. Pancakes with potatoes and herbs will definitely appeal to the whole family.
It is necessary
- For pancakes:
- - water (3 stacks);
- - flour (2, 5 stack.);
- - refined vegetable oil (1/4 cup);
- - soda (1/2 tsp);
- - favorite greens (20 gr)
- - salt.
- For filling:
- - potatoes (2-4 pcs.);
- - sweet bell pepper (100 gr);
- - olive oil (2-3 tablespoons);
- - sea salt (pinch).
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse and chop the herbs. Parsley, spinach, dill are ideal for this recipe. Place the chopped greens in a bowl and cover with three glasses of room temperature water. Add refined vegetable oil there. Only refined is suitable for frying.
Step 2
Place salt and baking soda in a bowl. Do not extinguish the soda. Then, stirring the dough with a whisk, gradually add the sifted flour there. The resulting dough should be free of lumps and similar in consistency to heavy cream.
Step 3
Bake ruddy pancakes. By the way, you can use a popular trick: use a funnel to place the finished dough into a clean bottle, then pour out a small amount of the dough from it, distribute it over the pan and turn it over after a few seconds. A bottle is much more convenient than a ladle.
Step 4
Boil potatoes, mash them in mashed potatoes. Chop the bell peppers into small pieces, mix with the potatoes and add a little olive oil. Brush the pancakes with the resulting potato filling and wrap them in a triangle.
