Meatballs are a very satisfying and popular dish. It consists of small balls of minced meat, fish or vegetable. Meatballs are easy to prepare, but at the same time have high taste.
It is necessary
- - 700 gr pork or beef;
- - 1 onion;
- - 1 carrot;
- - 1 chicken egg;
- - 50 grams of rice;
- - 2-3 tbsp. tomato paste;
- - 2 tbsp. sour cream;
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - salt and spices to taste;
- - parsley and dill.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour water into a saucepan. Dip the washed rice thoroughly and season with salt to taste. Simmer the cereals for 15 minutes over low heat. Throw the finished contents of the pan into a colander and wait until the excess liquid drains.
Step 2
Peel the onion and cut into four parts. Peel the carrots and cut into large pieces. Rinse the meat under running water, pat dry with a paper towel and pass through a meat grinder along with prepared vegetables, herbs and garlic. Add rice, raw eggs, salt and spices to the minced meat. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth.
Step 3
Preheat oven to 200 degrees and prepare a baking dish. Combine sour cream with tomato paste, table salt and black pepper in a separate bowl. Pour some water into the resulting mass and mix well again.
Step 4
Form the minced meat into small balls and place them in a mold in one layer. Pour meatballs with pre-prepared cold gravy, cover and place in a preheated oven. When about 10 minutes have passed from the start of cooking, reduce the temperature to 180 degrees.
Step 5
Cook the meatballs for 20-30 minutes. After the indicated time, remove the form and hold it under the lid for another 15 minutes. Then place the meatballs on plates and pour the gravy over. Serve the dish hot.
