Instructions

Step 1

First you need to prepare vegetables and dishes. Since potatoes in the open air quickly darken, as soon as the vegetables are ready, they immediately begin to fry the pancakes in a pan.

Step 2

The potatoes must first be peeled and divided into 2 parts. One part of the potato (about 500 grams) is rubbed on a fine grater, the second part on a medium grater. Peel the onion and finely chop it into cubes. In a bowl, mix both parts of grated potatoes, salt, dill, spices. If there is a lot of liquid, then squeeze some of the juice with your hands.

Step 3

Preheat a frying pan and pour in vegetable oil. Spread the potato mixture with a spoon, level the pancake surface if necessary and fry on both sides until crisp. Put the finished potato pancakes on a dish with a paper napkin. Serve hot with sour cream or garlic sauce.
