Citrus fruits are great for baking. It is enough to add orange, grapefruit or tangerine to the cake, and the delicacy becomes much more aromatic. Citrus pie turns out to be very tender, juicy, with an amazing aroma of tangerine and grapefruit.
It is necessary
- - 190 g flour;
- - 230 g sour cream;
- - 200 g of sugar;
- - 3 large eggs;
- - 2 tsp baking powder;
- - 0.5 teaspoons of salt;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of grapefruit zest;
- - 120 ml of vegetable oil;
- - 80 ml of fresh grapefruit juice;
- - 0.5 tsp of vanilla extract;
- - tangerines.
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Grease a baking dish with butter, sprinkle with a little flour. Line the bottom with baking paper.
Step 2
Sift flour, salt, baking powder. Whisk in sour cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla and grapefruit zest. Stir in the flour mixture gently. Pour in the juice, vegetable oil, mix.
Step 3
Pour the resulting dough into a mold. Peel a few tangerines, press the wedges into the dough until they reach the very bottom. Cook for 50 minutes.
Step 4
Let cool for 10 minutes without removing the citrus cake from the pan. Then transfer to a wire rack until it cools completely. Serve with unsweetened tea.
