Poppy brings an original touch to the usual curd filling!
It is necessary
- For the test:
- - 225 g of wheat flour;
- - 100 g of butter;
- - 75 g granulated sugar.
- For filling:
- - 560 ml of milk;
- - 115 g granulated sugar;
- - 75 g butter;
- - 190 g of cottage cheese;
- - 1 large egg;
- - 115 g of ground poppy;
- - 115 g semolina.
Instructions
Step 1
Cool the butter in the freezer before making the dough. Then grate it into a large bowl, add flour and sugar and grind everything into crumbs. Tamp 2/3 of the crumbs into a split form 18 cm in diameter, and pour the rest into a glass. Put everything in the cold.
Step 2
In a saucepan, mix milk, sugar and butter, put on the stove over medium heat and wait until it boils. Then add ground poppy seeds and pour semolina in a thin stream from a clenched fist. Do not forget to vigorously stir the mass when you pour the semolina so that there are no lumps! Set aside the saucepan from the stove and cool slightly.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Using a mixer, beat the cottage cheese and eggs thoroughly until smooth. Add cottage cheese to poppy seeds and stir.
Step 4
Place the filling on the base, smooth with a spatula and sprinkle with a third of the flour crumbs. Bake for an hour. Let cool at room temperature and then refrigerate for a couple of hours.
