- 1 kg yeast dough;
- 300 gr of canned peaches;
- 1 egg;
- butter.
Instructions
Step 1
Knead the yeast dough. Place the fermentation dough in a warm place.
Step 2
Divide the dough that has come up into two parts, leave one part to decorate the cake, and roll the other into a cake 1.5 cm thick.
Step 3
Transfer the rolled flatbread to a baking dish. Coat the mold with butter in advance. Cut off excess dough.
Step 4
Place canned peaches in a strainer or colander to drain excess liquid.
Step 5
Then cut the fruit into slices.
Step 6
Place the sliced peaches tightly on the surface of the future pie so that one slice covers the edge of the other. Sprinkle the peaches with clean sifted poppy seeds if desired.

Pinch the edges tightly to prevent juice from leaking out during baking.

Roll the remaining dough into a layer and cut into strips. Weave a pigtail from the resulting strips. Put the finished braid around the edge of the pie.

Beat the egg until light foam.
Step 10
Brush the pie with a beaten egg and leave the pan on the table for ten minutes to proof the dough.

Preheat the oven to 200-220 degrees and bake for twenty minutes.

Brush the edges of the finished pie with butter and cover with a linen towel.
