It is necessary

  • - 200 g yeast-free puff pastry
  • - 2 cans of tuna canned in oil or in its own juice (180 g each)
  • - 3 large potatoes (total weight about 800 g)
  • - 1 onion
  • - 3 eggs
  • - 100 g of herbs (parsley, dill)
  • - salt pepper

Instructions

Step 1

Boil the potatoes after peeling them. Drain and grate the potatoes or mash with a fork. Peel and finely chop the onion. Pour some oil into a preheated pan and put onions there. Fry it over high heat, stirring constantly.

Step 2

Drain the oil / juice from the tuna. Separate the pieces of fish from the bones and knead. Chop the parsley and dill. Beat eggs. To form a denser foam, the whites are whipped separately from the yolks.

Step 3

Mix the potatoes, tuna, onions, herbs and eggs thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper. Eggs should be added last. Coat a baking dish with vegetable oil. Put the prepared filling into the mold. The layer thickness should be no more than 5 cm.

Step 4

Cover the cake with the puff pastry, folding the edges around the pan. Whisk the yolk and spread it evenly over the surface of the dough. Place the cake in the oven after preheating it. It is necessary to bake for 30 minutes at a temperature of 180-200 degrees. The pie is served hot.
