    Step 1

Keep chicken eggs at room temperature for an hour to prevent the possibility of shell damage during cooking. Add one tablespoon of salt to the water. Degrease boiled eggs with alcohol or soapy water, so the paint will lay smoother. Use special coloring agents that are sold in abundance on the eve of Easter.

    Step 2

Collect onion skins in a bag throughout the year, with its help you can get a color from yellow to brown, depending on the amount of the husk. Pour boiling water over it and let it brew for half an hour. Boil the eggs in this simmering infusion for about ten minutes.

    Step 3

Golden and yellow colors are obtained from birch leaves. Collect fresh or dry young birch leaves (from a bath broom, for example). Pour boiling water over them and cook for ten minutes. Let them steep for about half an hour. Rinse eggs thoroughly and dip them in warm broth. Cook them in this infusion for ten minutes.

    Step 4

For one glass of water, take four tablespoons of ground coffee. Boil the eggs in this mixture until you get the desired color, from beige to brown.

    Step 5

To get a blue or lilac hue, pour boiling water over poplar earrings, raw sunflower seeds, elderberries or blueberries, snowdrops or mallow flowers. Let this mixture brew for about half an hour, boil the eggs. To make the paint blue, chop the red cabbage into small pieces and mix it with five tablespoons of vinegar. Pour the resulting mixture with water and leave for several hours. Boil eggs and cabbage in this infusion.

    Step 6

If you want a green color, use lily of the valley, nettle, primrose, spinach, ash or buckthorn bark leaves. Fill with water and boil thoroughly, leave for 30 minutes. Boil eggs in this infusion.

    Step 7

For a red or purple color, boil the eggs as usual. After that, rub them thoroughly with bird cherry juice, blueberries and beets. To make the color brighter and more saturated, leave the eggs in the dye infusion. Refrigerate them overnight. For extra shine, brush the dyed eggs with vegetable oil and wipe with a tissue.
