For this dish, it is best to take fresh mushrooms. Mushrooms need to be washed and cut into not too small cubes. Remember that the mushrooms will roast and become even smaller, and they should be clearly visible in the porridge.

To prepare the side dish, you need a frying pan with high sides. Pour some vegetable oil into it and fry the onion and garlic on it for 3-5 minutes. Add the mushrooms and continue to fry everything together for about 5 minutes.

Rinse buckwheat in cold water and pour into the pan. Pour two glasses of boiling water there. Measure water with the same glass as buckwheat, so that the correct ratio is obtained. Add a little pepper, salt, mix and leave the dish to stew until the buckwheat is ready, all the water should boil away. Porridge with mushrooms will be ready in 15-20 minutes.
