Frittata is an Italian omelette. Frittata can be stuffed with herbs, various vegetables, mushrooms, cheese. But the most delicious omelet will turn out if you combine various fillings in one dish.
It is necessary
- - eggs - 6 pcs.;
- - mushrooms - 150 g;
- - cherry tomatoes - 6 pcs.;
- - cheese - 150 g (you can take 2 types, for example: feta and parmesan);
- - butter - 1 tablespoon;
- - spinach - 1 bunch (preferably young);
- - fresh thyme - 1 sprig;
- - salt to taste;
- - pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
You will need a pan that is suitable for both stove-top and oven baking. Melt the butter in a frying pan and fry the mushrooms cut into thin plates. Add whole cherry tomatoes to the mushrooms and, stirring constantly, keep on fire for another 3 minutes.
Step 2
Beat eggs until smooth and mix with finely chopped thyme, add salt and pepper to taste. Reduce the heat under the pan to medium and add chopped spinach to the mushrooms and tomatoes.
Step 3
Next, pour in the frittata and keep the omelet on the fire until the edges thicken. Before placing the pan in an oven preheated to 200 degrees, sprinkle the omelet with grated cheese. The frittata should be warmed up in the oven for 7 to 8 minutes, during which time it will rise and be covered with a golden crust. Frittata is served hot.
