Mousse is a signature dish of the French. Like everything French, it is light, airy and attractive. But you won't surprise anyone with chocolate mousse - it is on the shelves of any supermarket. Make homemade chocolate mousse with marshmallows! Marshmallow will become the very "highlight" that mousses from the store are so lacking. Present a piece of Paris and a romantic mood for yourself and more!
It is necessary
- - 2 sheets of gelatin;
- - 6 tbsp. l. fine crystalline sugar;
- - 250 ml cream (fatty);
- - 1 tbsp. l. cocoa powder;
- - 125 g of curd cheese;
- - 2 squirrels;
- - 50 g mini marshmallows;
- - some chocolate chips.
Instructions
Step 1
Put the gelatin in a bowl, cover with cold water and soak according to the instructions on the package.
Step 2
Pour cream into a small saucepan, add 5 tbsp. l. sugar and cocoa. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook, stirring occasionally, until smooth.
Step 3
Remove the creamy mass from the heat and put the gelatin previously squeezed from the water into it. Mix everything thoroughly until the gelatin dissolves and let the mass cool.
Step 4
Place the curd cheese in a bowl and beat until smooth. Pour the creamy gelatin mixture into the cheese mass in small portions.
Step 5
Beat egg whites with 1 tbsp. l. sugar in a persistent fluffy foam and mix them into the creamy curd mass.
Step 6
Introduce pieces of marshmallow into the curd mass with gentle movements. Divide the resulting mass into portioned molds and put in the refrigerator until it solidifies.
Step 7
Before serving, turn over the frozen mousse tins on saucers and decorate each portion with chocolate chips.
