Chocolate cookies are the perfect tea treat. It is very easy to make your own icing from cocoa powder. Marshmallows can be bought ready-made, cookies with it will turn out to be more tender and airy.
It is necessary
- For cookies:
- - 300 g flour;
- - 200 g of sugar;
- - 3/4 cup cocoa;
- - 1/2 cup butter;
- - 1/2 glass of milk;
- - 12 marshmallows;
- - 1 egg;
- - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract;
- - 1/2 teaspoon of salt and soda.
- For chocolate glaze:
- - 400 g of sugar;
- - 1/4 cup milk;
- - 1/4 cup cocoa powder;
- - 4 tbsp. tablespoons of butter;
- - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Instructions
Step 1
Mix the sifted flour with soda, salt, cocoa powder, turn on the oven to warm up to 180 degrees.
Step 2
Beat butter with sugar, pour in milk, beat in an egg, add vanilla, beat with a mixer until smooth. Mix with flour mixture.
Step 3
Spoon the dough on a baking sheet 2 centimeters apart. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes at the indicated temperature.
Step 4
Take out the baking sheet, put half a marshmallow on each cookie. Squeeze the marshmallows lightly, put in the oven for a couple of minutes. The marshmallow should start melting, then cool the cookies.
Step 5
Whisk in butter and vanilla for icing. Add sugar, pour in milk, mix until smooth.
Step 6
Place 1 tbsp on each cookie. spoon glaze, smooth. Refrigerate the cookies until the frosting hardens.
