It is necessary

  • - canned salmon in its own juice - 800 grams;
  • - green bell pepper - 1 piece;
  • - milk - 200 milliliters;
  • - medium carrots - 2 pieces;
  • - wheat flour - 45 grams;
  • - young potatoes - 4 pieces;
  • - vegetable oil - 30 milliliters;
  • - bacon - 150 grams;
  • - celery stalks - 2 pieces;
  • - white onion - 1 onion;
  • - fish broth - 2 liters;
  • - Tabasco sauce - 1 teaspoon;
  • - green onion feathers - 1 bunch;
  • - fresh parsley - 1 bunch;
  • - spices - by preference.

Instructions

Step 1

It is necessary to prepare vegetables: carrots, onions and potatoes, rinse, peel and cut into small cubes. Rinse and dry celery and bell peppers. Remove the stalk and seed box from the pepper, then also cut into small cubes. Remove coarse veins from celery and cut into small thin strips.

Step 2

Pour vegetable oil into a saucepan, warm it up and fry finely chopped bacon. You need to fry for about 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Add celery, onions and carrots to the bacon. Reduce heat and cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 3

In a dry hot frying pan, fry the flour for no more than a minute and gradually add it to the pan with the vegetables, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Pour in the fish broth and bring the soup to a boil. Transfer prepared peppers and potatoes to a saucepan, cook for about 15 minutes.

Step 4

Drain the liquid from the canned fish, and cut the salmon into portions. Place them in soup.

Finally, add milk, tabasco and spices to taste. Bring chowder to a boil and remove from heat.

When serving, pour the soup into portioned bowls and add herbs.
