Minced potato casserole is a convenient option for a quick dinner. Typically, these dishes are prepared using an oven. But not everyone has an oven, and not everyone is friends with this kitchen assistant. But there is a frying pan in almost every home. So why not try making a casserole in it? The food is prepared in just half an hour and turns out to be incredibly tasty and very satisfying.
It is necessary
- - any minced meat (chicken, pork or pork and beef) - 300 g;
- - medium-sized potatoes - 6 pcs.;
- - chicken eggs - 2 pcs.;
- - onions - 1 pc.;
- - champignons (optional) - 6 pcs.;
- - kefir (milk or cream) - 70 ml;
- - sour cream - 3 tbsp. l.;
- - hard cheese - 100 g;
- - garlic - 1 clove;
- - sunflower oil - 2-3 tbsp. l.;
- - ground black pepper;
- - salt;
- - fresh herbs (optional);
- - deep frying pan.
Instructions
Step 1
First, let's prepare the filling for the casserole. Peel the onions and cut into cubes. Take a frying pan and heat it up. Pour in the sunflower oil and when it's hot, add the minced meat and fry until it brightens (about 3-5 minutes). Add the onion, stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Finally, add black pepper and salt to taste.
Step 2
Remove the husk from the garlic clove. Then chop it finely or crush it through a press. And then add to the minced meat. When the meat is browned, transfer it to a separate bowl. Clarification: if you have another deep frying pan, you do not need to transfer the minced meat.
Step 3
In the meantime, peel the potatoes, rinse and cut into thin circles no more than 2 mm thick. Rinse the freed frying pan after minced meat (or another deep one), wipe it and grease with sunflower oil, including the sides.
Step 4
Put half of the chopped potatoes on the bottom in 1-2 layers, salt and pepper it. Next, lay the minced meat, which needs to be covered with the remaining potato slices. We also salt them, add a pinch of black pepper and grease with sour cream (using a cooking brush or just a spoon).
Step 5
If you have champignons (you can do without them), cut into thin slices and distribute them evenly over the surface of the potatoes.
Step 6
Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle on the casserole. Now let's prepare the fill. Break the chicken eggs into a separate small bowl, beat them lightly with a fork. Then pour in kefir (or milk, cream) and stir. Pour the resulting mass into the casserole.
Step 7
The workpiece is formed. Now place the skillet on the stove and cook at the lowest temperature, with the lid closed, for 20 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.
Step 8
When the casserole is ready, remove it from the stove, divide it into portions, and serve with a vegetable salad, pickles, and fresh chopped herbs (green onions or dill).
