Sweet Morning Rice Caramel Pudding is a great option for a family breakfast. As you already understood, rice pudding is prepared, many spices are used in the preparation. Caramel is quickly made from sugar and water.

It is necessary

  • For the pudding:
  • - 1 liter of milk;
  • - 125 g of round grain rice;
  • - 80 g of sugar;
  • - 50 g seedless raisins;
  • - 30 g of peeled pistachios;
  • - a bag of vanilla sugar;
  • - 2 eggs;
  • - 1 star of a carnation;
  • - salt, cinnamon to taste.
  • For caramel:
  • - 125 g brown sugar;
  • - 50 ml of water.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the round grain rice. Pour milk into a saucepan with a thick bottom, add vanilla and regular sugar. Add cloves and cinnamon, a pinch of salt. Bring milk to a boil, pour rice into it, cook over low heat for 35 minutes.

Step 2

Rinse the raisins, cover with warm water, set aside for 10 minutes. Then drain the water, pat the raisins dry with paper towels. Cool the rice porridge slightly, beat 2 eggs into it, add the raisins, stir.

Step 3

To make caramel: Combine brown sugar and water in a heavy-bottomed saucepan, bring to a boil and cook for about 10 minutes until caramel forms.

Step 4

Grease a baking dish with butter, pour the finished caramel into it. If you want, you can arrange the mass into the portioned pudding tins, if you have them. Place the rice porridge on top of the caramel and smooth.

Step 5

Place the pudding dish on a baking sheet, fill the baking sheet halfway with hot water. Bake at medium heat for 45 minutes. If the molds are small, 30 minutes is enough.

Step 6

The Sweet Morning caramel rice pudding should cool slightly in the mold, after which you can transfer it to a dish, sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
