It is necessary

  • - 500 g of fresh sea buckthorn berries;
  • - 1 liter of leaven;
  • - 20 g of honey;
  • - 20 g vanilla sugar.

Instructions

Step 1

Carrots of the following varieties are perfect for making this cocktail: "Agata", "Belatris", "Marseille". You can take any juicy orange carrot, as long as it is juicy. Sea buckthorn is suitable for any, except white.

Step 2

Take four large ripe carrots, wash in warm running water, peel. Cut the peeled carrots into large pieces. Take a blender or juicer and skip the carrots a few times. If you have a blender, then carefully strain the whipped carrots through cheesecloth folded in several layers. The cocktail needs fresh carrot juice without pulp. Mix the strained juice with honey and vanilla sugar. Whisk everything again in a blender or hand mixer. Sugar and honey must be completely dissolved and not precipitated. Pour the juice into a jug and refrigerate for a couple of hours.

Step 3

Take ripe sea buckthorn berries, rinse them thoroughly in warm running water. It is best to sort out the berries in advance and remove all unnecessary items, twigs and leaves. Pour the berries onto a large, wide sieve, turn on the shower and rinse the berries several times. Let the berries dry completely. Pour the berries into a blender and beat. It is not necessary to squeeze the sea buckthorn, its pulp gives the cocktail a special sourness.

Step 4

In a large blender bowl, whisk the whipped sea buckthorn berries, sourdough, and carrot juice together. Cool slightly and serve.
