  • - 3 medium cucumbers
  • - a bunch of dill
  • - 1 bunch of lettuce
  • - 4 cloves of garlic
  • - 1 tbsp. natural yoghurt
  • - freshly ground black pepper
  • - olive oil

Instructions

Step 1

Wash cucumbers, cut in half, remove pulp and seeds. If the skin of the cucumbers is tough and rough, remove it as well. Wash and dry the dill and lettuce leaves, finely chop the dill.

Step 2

Grate cucumbers on a fine grater, add a little salt and set aside for 15 minutes, and then squeeze out the released cucumber juice. Peel the garlic, chop it with a garlic mincer.

Step 3

Pour yogurt into a shallow bowl, add pre-grated cucumber, dill and garlic, salt and season to taste, mix thoroughly. Put the lettuce leaves on the plates, top with tzatziki, pour generously with olive oil. Serve as a sauce for bread, vegetables, meat, fish dishes.
