Bacon pasta is one of the most delicious Italian dishes. It is both satisfying and delicious at the same time. An excellent addition to pasta will be a sauce made from quality tomatoes.
It is necessary
- - 120 g bacon;
- - onion;
- - celery stalk;
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - 900 g of fresh tomatoes;
- - 3/4 teaspoon of salt;
- - a teaspoon of Italian spice (oregano, basil, rosemary, cumin, sage, marjoram and red pepper);
- - a pinch of chili;
- - parmesan (optional);
- - 450 g of pasta (fettuccine or tagliatelle).
Instructions
Step 1
First, cut the bacon into cubes. Chop the onion, celery and garlic.
Step 2
We make cross-shaped cuts on the tomatoes and lower them in boiling water to quickly and easily remove the skin.
Step 3
Remove the seeds and cut the tomatoes into small cubes.
Step 4
In a skillet over medium heat, fry the bacon, celery and onions for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Add garlic and fry for 1 minute. We spread the tomatoes and pour in the spices and salt. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10-15 minutes.
Step 6
Boil the pasta according to the instructions, mix with the sauce and serve hot. Sprinkle with a little grated Parmesan, if desired.
