Caramel dessert with sweet cream is a dish that will delight both adults and children. This dessert will be a bright end to a hearty dinner. You can serve caramel with sweet cream both with tea and sweet white wine.
Ingredients for caramel:
- Boiling water - 3 tablespoons;
- Powdered sugar - 210 g.
Ingredients for the cream:
- Powdered sugar - 5 tsp;
- Cream - 600 g;
- Egg - 5 pieces;
- Vanilla essence - 1 tsp;
- Almonds - 3 pieces.
For decoration you need almonds.
Preparation:
- The first step is to prepare the glaze. To do this, pour sugar into a saucepan and melt it over very low heat. Sugar must be constantly stirred, it should acquire a light brown golden color. Once the desired color of sugar is obtained, you need to cool it slightly and pour in boiling water, mix everything. Pour the resulting mixture into a warm dish. The form must be twisted so that the caramel covers not only the bottom of the dish, but also the walls.
- The oven must be preheated to a temperature acceptable for caramel of 170 degrees. Put the powdered sugar and cream in the pan in which the caramel was prepared. Bring the sugar and cream to a boil. Grate the almonds and pour them over the cream, boiled with sugar. Add a teaspoon of diluted vanilla essence.
- Take one egg and separate the yolk from the white. Beat the remaining eggs with one egg yolk. Pour them into a slightly chilled mixture and stir vigorously. Pour the resulting cream into a mold covered with caramel glaze. Cover the dish with a lid and wrap the form with foil on top.
- Place the dish with the ingredients in a container half filled with hot water. Bake the caramel dessert with cream for 45 minutes in the oven. The readiness of the dessert must be checked with a knife.
- Chill the dessert without removing it from the mold. Then carefully transfer the dessert to a serving platter. Decorate with flaked almonds.
