Oyakodon is one of the simplest and most satisfying Japanese dishes. Literally it can be translated as "scrambled eggs, chicken and rice", which is the basis of its constituent ingredients. It will take you no more than 30 minutes to prepare the oyakodon.
It is necessary
- -250 grams of chicken fillet
- -1/2 cup rice
- -1 medium onion
- -4 eggs
- -1/2 cup soy sauce
- -3 tbsp Sahara
- -10 grams of butter
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the rice with cold water until the water becomes completely clear.
Step 2
Put the rice in a saucepan and cover it with cold water in a ratio of 1: 1, 5. The water should completely cover the rice and be about 2-3 centimeters higher than it, depending on the volume of the pan.
Step 3
Place the saucepan on the stove and bring to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
After boiling the rice, switch the stove to low heat. Add 10 grams of butter. Cover and leave for 20 minutes. The lid must be without a hole to prevent steam from escaping.
Step 5
Remove the rice from the stove. Open the lid. Stir and leave again for 10-15 minutes.
Step 6
Cut the onions into half rings.
Step 7
Peel the chicken fillet and cut into small cubes.
Step 8
Preheat a skillet and slowly pour 1/2 cup of soy sauce into it. Leave to boil over high heat.
Step 9
Immediately after boiling the soy sauce, add half rings of onion and 3 tbsp. Sahara. Switch to medium heat and leave for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 10
Add chicken fillet to the already fried onions. Fry for about three minutes on each side until a crust appears.
Step 11
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until smooth. Gently pour the mixture into the middle of the dish, trying to cover the entire area.
Step 12
Cover the dish with a lid and leave without stirring for five minutes.
Step 13
Pour the steamed rice onto a plate. Top with chicken and omelet. Top with grated basil.
