Mongolian Gorka salad is an easy-to-prepare, but very unusual dish in taste. Ingredients familiar to the Russian people in combination with prunes, pomegranates and nuts create a spicy and unusual taste. Such a salad will serve as a decoration for any table, as it looks delicious and original.

It is necessary

  • - 2-3 beets;
  • - 2 carrots;
  • - 100 g of any hard cheese;
  • - garlic;
  • - 1 ripe pomegranate;
  • - 1 chicken breast or fillet;
  • - 7-8 prunes;
  • - 1/2 cup walnuts;
  • - mayonnaise.

Instructions

Step 1

The first step is to boil the beets and carrots. It is better to do this in advance so that the vegetables have time to cook and cool. Peel and grate boiled root vegetables on a coarse or medium grater. Each vegetable will need a separate bowl.

Step 2

Chicken fillet can be boiled, or fried in a pan in pieces. Whoever likes it better. Also cool and set aside in a separate plate.

Step 3

Pass a couple of small cloves of garlic through a press and add to the grated beets. Put a little mayonnaise there and, if necessary, salt, mix.

Grate cheese and mix with carrots, add salt and mayonnaise to taste.

Chop the kernels, add to the chicken meat, season with a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise.

Wash pitted prunes, dry and cut. Peel the pomegranate, separate the grains.
