Step 1
Cut the cheese into 8 slices and season with black pepper, brush with olive oil. In the store, you may also come across halloumi, already divided into identical triangles. Take a barbecue or grill grate, place the cheese on top and grill it for 3 minutes on both sides. Halloumi cheese was not chosen by chance for this appetizer. Don't be afraid to cook this cheese made with goat milk on the barbecue grill. As a result, you will receive an unusually tender and tasty product with a crispy crust.
Step 2
Wash the tomatoes thoroughly with cool water. Cut the fruit in half lengthwise. Let the tomatoes dry for a while. Place vegetables cut-side up on a cheese barbecue, sprinkle with sugar, salt and pepper. Bake for 2 minutes. Watch the tomatoes so that they are moderately baked, but not out of shape.
Step 3
While the tomatoes are cooking, cut the olives into small cubes. Take a nice flat plate, remove the cooked tomatoes with cheese from the wire rack, and place them on a dish, top with olive oil and garnish with olives. Serve warm.
