Original and delicious meat snacks are a real decoration of the table. They go well with each other, as well as with other dishes. There are hot and cold meat snacks, the latter being especially popular.
An original snack can be a waffle cake with meat. To prepare it you will need:
- 1 pack of wafer sheets;
- 500 g of meat;
- 1 boiled carrot;
- 2 boiled eggs;
- 2 raw eggs;
- vegetable oil;
- pepper and salt.
Rinse the meat (pork or veal) and boil in salted water until tender. Then pass through a meat grinder along with boiled carrots and hard-boiled eggs. Season with salt and pepper.
Apply the prepared filling on the wafer sheets and stack them on top of each other in the form of a cake. Make the last layer of waffle sheet without filling. Cut the resulting cake into pieces, carefully dip each in beaten eggs and fry in vegetable oil on both sides. Serve the waffle cake with meat cold.
An appetizer made from beef with cheese is no less tasty. It will require:
- 300 g of boiled beef;
- 1 head of onion;
- 1 hard boiled egg;
- 75 g of cheese;
- 150 g mayonnaise;
- 50 g butter;
- greens;
- salt and pepper.
Peel the onions and chop finely, then save in butter until tender and cool.
Pass the boiled beef through a meat grinder and add the fried onions. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and combine with meat and onions. It should not melt, so all components should be well cooled before mixing. Then add the minced egg.
Whisk the remaining butter and combine with the prepared mass. Season the appetizer with mayonnaise, salt, pepper and mix thoroughly.
Serve a beef and cheese appetizer to the table, sprinkle with finely chopped herbs.
To prepare a savory pork snack with dried fruits, you need to take the following ingredients:
- 1 kg of pork (brisket, loin or shoulder) in one piece;
- 100 g of dried fruits;
- ginger or nutmeg;
- ground black pepper;
- salt.
Rinse the pork thoroughly and pat dry with a paper towel. Then make a longitudinal cut in the piece of meat. Pour a mixture of salt and spices (pepper, ginger or nutmeg) into it and lay an even layer of pitted prunes, dried apricots or dried apples. After that, tie the meat with a thread so that you get an oblong roll.
Pour the stuffed pork with cold water, bring to a boil and, removing the foam, cook until cooked for about 2 hours. In the middle of cooking, add salt and, if desired, add the roots (parsley, carrots, celery, onions). Cool the finished meat in the broth. Then transfer to a bowl and hold under pressure for about an hour.
After that, remove the thread, and serve the pork with dried fruits cold, cut into thin slices.
