The New Year's table is traditionally plentiful and rich in goodies and pickles. Housewives pay great attention to hot dishes, salads and snacks, but among all this variety, do not forget about preparing a New Year's dessert.
Snow Tale Cake
You will need:
- biscuit cakes (purchased or baked on their own);
- cottage cheese - 200 g;
- raisins, nuts, dried apricots or prunes - to taste;
- medium fat sour cream - 100 g;
- vanilla marshmallow white - 8-10 pieces;
- custard - 1 packet.
First, we make the filling. To do this, mix cottage cheese, sour cream, nuts and dried fruits.
Put half of the curd mass on the first crust. Divide the marshmallows into halves and place on the curd. Put the second part of the curd cream on the marshmallow. Top with a sponge cake and spread the custard over the whole cake. The cream can be used commercially or prepared by yourself.
If you wish, you can make several layers with cottage cheese and marshmallows. Decorate the cake with walnuts.
Orange soufflé
You will need:
- large orange - 1 piece;
- sugar - 50 g;
- milk - 2 glasses;
- butter - 70 g;
- flour - 30 g;
- eggs - 2 pieces;
- salt.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat (do not bring to a boil). Without removing from heat, add flour and stir quickly. Then add the rest of the food, except for the eggs, stirring continuously.
When the mass boils, immediately remove it from the heat and stir in the egg yolks. Then let the dough cool down and gently add the whites whipped into a strong foam into the cooled dough.
Grease a baking dish with butter and put the resulting dough into it. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
