Recipe for delicious coconut cookies with a slight sourness. For some it may seem too sweet, but it turns out to be very tasty anyway. Will decorate any tea party.
It is necessary
- - 200 g of coconut;
- - 200 g of condensed milk;
- - 1 glass of powdered sugar;
- - 1 egg white;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of flour;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of lemon juice;
- - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract;
- - a pinch of salt.

Step 1
Beat the egg white with a little pinch of salt for a few minutes until peaks form.

Mix coconut flakes with condensed milk until smooth, add flour in small portions, stirring constantly. Gently whisk the whipped protein into this sweet mixture.

While preparing the dough, let the oven warm up to 170 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet - just cover it with baking paper. Put the dough on a baking sheet with a tablespoon, do not crush it! Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.

Bake the lemon frosting coconut macaroon for about 25 minutes, during which time it should turn golden brown.
Step 5
Make lemon frosting for now. Making it is very simple: mix 1 cup of powdered sugar with lemon juice, if the mixture is too thick, increase the amount of added juice. Always take fresh juice!
Step 6
Take the finished cookies out of the oven immediately, cool a little without removing them from the baking sheet. Then cover with lemon frosting on top. In a closed container, such cookies can be stored for 3-5 days.
