Beef steak is combined with a wide variety of side dishes - vegetables, potatoes, boiled rice. You can surprise your guests with a real French dish - the most tender meat with béarnaise sauce.
It is necessary
- - 700 g of beef
- - 1 clove of garlic
- - olive oil
- - 50 ml of dry white wine
- - shallots (or green onions)
- - 4 egg yolks
- - thyme
- - salt
- - ground black pepper
- - butter
- - lemon juice
- - white wine vinegar
Instructions
Step 1
Rub the beef thoroughly with salt and pepper, cut into large pieces and marinate in chopped garlic and thyme. This process does not take much time. The meat is soaked in spices for only 20 minutes.
Step 2
Fry the marinated beef in olive oil until crusty. It is better to reheat the meat before serving to keep it hot.
Step 3
Chop the shallots and fry in olive oil with a little wine vinegar and white wine. Whisk the egg yolks and stir into the onion. Foam the resulting mixture with a whisk or blender. Add salt and pepper to the mixture as you like.
Step 4
Bearnaise sauce gets an unusual flavor if you add a little lemon juice to it. Alternatively, you can vary the ingredients and sprinkle the finished dish with cumin.
Step 5
Beef steaks with béarnaise sauce can be served as a separate dish or served with a side dish. For example, fresh vegetables dressed with olive oil are ideal.
