Cinnamon parfait is an amazing spicy dessert. It will take only an hour to prepare, but you will have to wait for the dessert to freeze. A suitable drink for a parfait is a strong sweet wine.
Ingredients:
- Powdered sugar - 100 g;
- Egg yolks - 4 pcs;
- Vanilla essence;
- Heavy cream - 400 g;
- Ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon.
Ingredients for the sauce:
- Apple juice - 400 g;
- Starch - 1 tablespoon.
For registration:
- Apples - 3 pcs;
- Sugar - 85 g;
- Water - 75 g.
Preparation:
- Put the egg yolks together with the icing sugar in a heat-resistant dish. Dilute vanilla essence with a drop of hot water. Add vanillin to the egg mixture. Place the mold with this mixture in a container of hot water, but it should not boil. Beat the mixture until fluffy and thick. Chill the egg mixture while stirring continuously.
- Whisk the heavy cream and mix with the cinnamon. Pour into chilled egg mixture. Pour the resulting parfait into a narrow and long mold. Place the dish in the refrigerator for five hours.
- Then you need to prepare a decoration for the parfait. Stir with a spoon and bring sugar and water to a boil. The sugar should dissolve. Wash and peel the apples. Cook the apples in syrup until they soften.
- Now you need to prepare the sauce. To do this, bring the apple juice to a boil. Mix the starch with a little water and put it in the apple juice. Boil this mixture over low heat, stirring. The apple juice along with the starch should thicken.
- Cool the resulting sauce. After cooling, add the apple balls.
- Remove the parfait from the freezer. Cut into portions and place in serving plates. Pour the resulting sauce over the cinnamon parfait. Apple balls will decorate the dish.
- It is important that all the ingredients of the finished dish are well chilled, then the dessert will be extremely tasty. Instead of a narrow and long shape, you can also use small round ones.
