In the spring, it is imperative to fill the body with vitamins, because a lot of them have been spent over the long winter. The easiest and most affordable way is to eat fresh vegetables raw. Therefore, a light vegetable salad is a great option for getting vitamins in the spring.
Ingredients for making vegetable salad:
- half a head of Chinese cabbage;
- 1-2 large sweet peppers;
- 1 large fresh cucumber;
- 2 red large tomatoes;
- any greens;
- salt, oil for dressing.
Cooking a light vegetable salad:
1. Shred Chinese cabbage arbitrarily, but not too large.
2. Pour the chopped cabbage into a bowl, season with salt and wrinkle a little for softness.
3. My pepper, clean from seeds and walls, cut also arbitrarily.
4. Rinse the cucumber under the tap, clean if the peel is too thick. Cut a cucumber with a thin peel immediately, into strips.
5. My tomatoes, cut into small pieces.
6. Combine all vegetables with cabbage, mix, add greens. Add salt if necessary.
7. Season the salad with your favorite oil (sunflower, mustard, olive), you can add a little lemon juice. Mix well and let it brew for 10 minutes, so the salad will be more juicy and tasty.
