New Year is approaching, and every housewife is probably already thinking about what to prepare for the festive table. Of course, there are many recipes, but as always we want to cook something special. And here, in my opinion, is one of the suitable recipes.
It is necessary
- - 12 large fresh mushrooms;
- - 1 tablespoon of olive oil;
- 1/4 cup ripe pitted olives, sliced into rings
- - 2 tomatoes, diced;
- - 2 tablespoons of dried small bread crumbs;
- - 2 cups shredded feta cheese;
- - 2 finely chopped garlic cloves;
- - 1/8 teaspoon of salt;
- 1/2 teaspoon dry crushed oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Step 1
The first step is to preheat the oven to 220 degrees. We take a baking sheet and grease it with vegetable oil, then set it aside for a while. Next, our mushrooms are used. They should be rinsed very thoroughly, then the legs should be cut off and removed. We won't need them anymore. The next thing to do is to grease each cap of mushroom with olive oil and place them on a prepared baking sheet with the caps facing down. We put the whole thing in the oven for 5 minutes, after which we take out and put the mushrooms on a paper towel, only with the other side. This is necessary in order for them to drain all the liquid that was formed during their stay in the oven.
Step 2
Now let's start preparing the filling. We take a deep plate and mix all the above ingredients there, namely: cheese, tomatoes, olives, bread crumbs, garlic, pepper, oregano, salt.
Step 3
Next, we put our filling in the mushrooms. For this you need to use a teaspoon. The filling must be applied so that there is a small slide on top. Notice a small one! Otherwise, all the filling will end up on the baking sheet. Place the mushrooms on a greased baking sheet. We bake our appetizer for about 10 minutes at a temperature of 220 degrees. Serve the Greek-style stuffed mushrooms cooled slightly. Bon Appetit! Good luck!
