Try this gourmet mashed potato substitute! You will certainly appreciate it, especially if, when serving, decorate with a spoonful of rustic sour cream and chopped herbs …
It is necessary
- Serves 4:
- - 120 ml heavy cream;
- - 4 large potato tubers;
- - 200 g of parmesan;
- - 200 g butter;
- - 4 tablespoons sour cream;
- - salt, pepper and ground dried garlic to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Each potato tuber is well washed, cleaning off all the dirt (it is even better to use a special vegetable brush, if you have one on your farm).
Step 2
We cut it across, but do not cut it to the end: the potato should resemble a disheveled book.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and prepare a baking sheet, lining it with baking paper.
Step 4
It is better to pre-freeze the oil in the freezer to make it easier to work with it. Then we cut it into thin slices. Insert a small piece into each cut on the tuber. Salt and pepper the root vegetables with all our hearts and sprinkle with dried ground garlic. We send it to the oven for about 30-40 minutes - it all depends on the power of your oven and, of course, the size of the potatoes.
Step 5
15 minutes before readiness, pour the root vegetable with heavy cream, and then three cheese and sprinkle the potatoes with it. Put the finished potatoes on a plate and "crown" with a spoonful of sour cream and finely chopped favorite greens. Such potatoes will be an excellent side dish for grilled chicken, but it may well serve as an independent hearty dish!
