Step 1

First you need to cut the onion into small squares, heat the olive oil in a frying pan and add the onion to it. Fry onions until soft. Then you need to add white wine to it. It will give the sauce a light, fruity flavor.

After adding the wine, you need to wait 2-3 minutes, then put 3 tablespoons of sugar in the pan, mix everything thoroughly. Next, you need to pour 2 tsp. balsamic vinegar, it will add a light piquancy to the sauce. At the end, add 3 tbsp. Tabasco sauce. Now you need to wait for the sauce to cool down.

Step 3

Using a blender, the marmalade should be turned into a smooth sauce and proceed to cooking the steak. To do this, place a rib-eye steak on a cutting board. Dry the steak with a towel, pepper, salt and place in a preheated grill pan. Hold it on a high temperature on each side for 1 minute, then reduce the heat to minimum. The steak is cooked for 3-4 minutes on each side.
