It's hard to imagine a menu without potatoes. It contains fiber, potassium, phosphorus, carbohydrates, almost all amino acids and vitamin C found in plants. With the advent of multicooker, it has become easier to cook potatoes using various modes. It can be traditionally boiled or steamed, baked or fried.
Multicooker French fries recipe
To cook your favorite fries in a slow cooker, you will need:
- 3 potatoes;
- ½ glass of vegetable oil;
- salt.
First of all, prepare the potatoes: wash them thoroughly under running water, peel and cut into strips.
Pour vegetable oil into a removable multicooker bowl and salt it. Then lay out the potatoes.
Select the "Bake" mode on the control panel and a time of 30 minutes. After half an hour, stir the potatoes and, without changing the mode, set the timer for 10 minutes. Then continue to fry the fries until tender.
Baked potato recipe
To cook potatoes in a slow cooker according to this recipe, you need to take:
- 5 potatoes;
- 2 tbsp. l. mustard (better than French);
- 2-3 cloves of garlic;
- 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
- 1 tbsp. l. dried dill or a sprig of fresh;
- salt.
Wash the potatoes very well under running water with a brush. Then, peel and cut each potato into 2-4 pieces.
Grease the bottom of the removable multicooker bowl with vegetable oil, put the potato wedges and salt.
Combine vegetable oil with French mustard, add finely chopped dill, peeled and pressed garlic cloves. Mix everything well.
Pour the cooked mustard sauce over the potato wedges. Place the lid on the multicooker and bake the potatoes for 40 minutes in baking mode.
Recipe for mashed potatoes with herbs
You can make delicious mashed potatoes using the multicooker. This will require:
- 4 potatoes;
- 1 tsp. butter;
- ¼ glass of milk;
- greens;
- salt;
- water.
Cut the washed and peeled potatoes into 4-6 pieces. Then put it in the multicooker bowl, fill it with water so that it completely covers the potatoes. Salt.
Set the "Steam cooking" mode on the panel, the time is 20 minutes and press the "Start" button.
When a beep sounds, drain the water from the multicooker bowl, and put the potatoes in a bowl or saucepan and thoroughly mash by hand with a pusher. It is not recommended to use a blender.
Heat the milk and pour over the potatoes, add butter and chopped herbs. If desired, you can add aromatic spices: marjoram, red paprika, thyme, turmeric, savory, dried ground onion. Then mix all the ingredients well until smooth and serve hot cooked mashed potatoes to the table.
