All you need for this recipe is to make a semi-finished muffin bake and add strawberries, banana, pineapple, and cocoa powder to make this layered crunchy dessert. You can also use canned fruits instead of fresh ones to make this banana cake during the winter months.
It is necessary
- 3 cups strawberries, chopped (fresh or canned)
- 3 cups sliced pineapple (fresh or canned)
- 3 ripe bananas
- 5 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 2 boxes of semi-finished cake baking,
- 2 cups vanilla icing sugar
- vegetable oil,
- 2 eggs.
Instructions
Step 1
In a separate bowl, cut the strawberries (about 3 cups is sufficient) into small pieces. You can do this with a blender. In another bowl, slice the pineapple in the same way as for strawberries.
Step 2
Use a semi-finished cake batter according to the instructions on the package. Add banana puree to it and stir, divide into 3 equal parts.
Step 3
Take 2 tablespoons of minced pineapple and set aside (you should use them for decoration when the banana cake is done). Add the rest of the pineapples to one part of the dough and stir.
Step 4
Likewise, set aside 2 tablespoons of strawberries, and mix the rest of the berries with the second part of the dough.
Step 5
Add about 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder to the third part of the dough (the amount depends on how much chocolate you want to make) and mix well. The banana cake recipe in this article shouldn't turn out to be bitter.
Step 6
Grease 3 baking tins and flour. Pour one piece of dough into each of them and bake according to the instructions for preparing the semi-finished product (on average, about 30-35 minutes).
Step 7
Prepare vanilla frosting and divide into 3 bowls. Place pineapple in 1 bowl and mix with a spoon or knife.
Combine the strawberries and frosting in a second bowl, add a tablespoon (more or less to taste) of cocoa powder to the rest of the frosting.
Step 8
When the cakes are ready, take a knife and cut the edges evenly, then let them cool. When the cakes are cold, place the strawberry crust on a plate and top with the strawberry icing. Place a chocolate layer on top of it and brush with chocolate icing. Finally, lay the pineapple layer on and brush it with pineapple frosting.
Step 9
Brush the finished banana cake on all sides with the remaining icing. Alternatively, you can sprinkle it with chopped nuts or chopped chocolate for garnish. The most important thing is that the glaze does not crumble ahead of time.
