Everyone knows that carrots contain a huge amount of vitamins. This is especially necessary in the spring season. Here is a recipe for a carrot snack. There are many useful substances in this dish, since carrots are not heat-treated.
It is necessary
- To prepare a carrot snack, you will need:
- • some leeks,
- • two large or three medium carrots,
- • two tomatoes,
- • dried oregano (regan),
- • salt to taste,
- • 2-3 st. tablespoons of olive oil
- • 1 tbsp. a spoonful of tomato paste and 200 ml of water.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the leek into thin slices. Fry it in olive oil for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Peel and cut the carrots into 5-6 cm long sticks.
Step 3
Cut the tomatoes into cubes. Add carrots and tomatoes to onions, fry for 5-7 minutes.
Step 4
Dilute tomato paste in water and add liquid to vegetables. Salt and add oregano.
Step 5
We cover the stewpan with a lid and, occasionally stirring vegetables, simmer them over medium heat for half an hour.
Step 6
Carrot dressing goes very well with pasta, cereals or potatoes.
