Making radishes in batter may seem like a novelty, a bold option. In fact, in this way the Japanese, the Portuguese have been preparing food during the fast for a very long time. A vegetable in such a "fur coat" acquires softness, tenderness, which does not spoil the original taste at all.
It is necessary
- - radish - 250-300 g;
- - chicken egg - 1 pc.;
- - soy sauce - 2-3 tbsp.;
- - wheat flour - 2-3 tablespoons;
- - garlic - 3-4 cloves.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the radishes, cut off the tails and greens. If the skin is very dense, cut it off, then cut the radish into circles.
Step 2
Prepare batter from the rest of the products. Wash the egg, break into a deep bowl and whisk together with the soy sauce using a whisk. Peel the cloves of garlic, pass through the garlic press and mix with the egg. Gradually add flour to the resulting mass, achieve a thick composition, similar to dough for pancakes.
Step 3
Heat the frying pan together with sunflower or other vegetable oil, put a few slices of radish, rolled in batter, fry on both sides. Put the prepared radish in batter on a plate, serve with your favorite sauce.
