Potato cake is a delicacy loved by many, starting from childhood. Even now, you can easily buy it in stores. But in the modern world it is almost impossible to find a natural product without preservatives. What can not be said about the "Potato" cooked at home, which will taste very much like "that" cake. Moreover, such a treat has one more advantage - it is prepared very quickly and does not require baking.
It is necessary
- - any friable biscuits (you can take "Baked milk" or "Yubileinoe") - 300 g;
- - butter with a fat content of 82.5% - 0.5 packs (90-100 g);
- - whole condensed milk with sugar - 0, 5 cans;
- - cocoa parashock - 4 tbsp. l. without a slide;
- - icing sugar - 3 tbsp. l. without a slide;
- - vanillin - on the tip of a knife;
- - cognac (rum, liqueur) - 2 tbsp. l. (optional);
- - walnuts or peanuts - for decoration (optional).
Instructions
Step 1
Before cooking, remove the butter from the refrigerator to soften. Grind the cookies in a blender until fine crumbs. You can also pass it through a meat grinder or ceiling in a mortar. As a last resort, place the cookies in a bag, place them on a cutting board and run over them several times with a rolling pin until they crumble.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, put soft butter at room temperature, condensed milk, 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder, an alcoholic drink (without it) and vanillin. Stir the ingredients with a spoon or beat with a mixer (blender).
Step 3
Mix the resulting chocolate cream with the crumb. You should get a thick mass, in consistency reminiscent of children's plasticine. Shape them into oblong oval cakes and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Step 4
When the holding time comes to an end, remove the blanks from the refrigerator. In a small bowl, combine the remaining cocoa powder with the powdered sugar and roll over the cakes. Optionally, take peanuts or chopped walnuts and garnish the Potato with them.
