For 10 years now I have been working as a costume designer in the theater. During this time, we have developed a good tradition: for each premiere, bake this cake for your favorite band and after the performance arrange a small tea party, where we share our emotions and impressions.

It is necessary

  • For the test:
  • - sour cream (15-20%) - 200 g,
  • - egg - 3 pcs.,
  • - flour - 2-2, 5 cups,
  • - salt -1 / 2 tsp.,
  • - soda -1 tsp.
  • For filling:
  • - egg - 4 pcs.,
  • - green onions - 2 bunches,
  • - butter - 50 g,
  • - black peppercorns -1 tsp,
  • - salt to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Hard-boiled eggs for the filling (10 minutes after boiling), then cool under running cold water, peel and rub on a coarse grater. Rinse the onion well and chop finely. Prepare the dough: combine sour cream with soda and let the mass bubble.

Step 2

Beat eggs with a pinch of salt and add to sour cream. Pour in flour and knead a not steep thick dough. Add a little onion to the dough (about 1-2 pinches of the total amount). In a bowl, combine the remaining onion and eggs, salt. Grind the peppercorns in a mortar into a powder (you can use ground pepper, but this, in my opinion, turns out to be much more aromatic).

Step 3

Season eggs with onion and pepper, mix. Pour half of the dough into the mold, lay out the filling. Put pieces of butter on top and cover everything with the remaining dough. You can knead a little dough more abruptly and lay the pattern on top. We bake the cake until golden brown at 180 °, check the readiness with a wooden stick.
