It is necessary

  • - 2 eggs
  • - olive oil
  • - 2 tbsp. wheat flour
  • - 1 kg of potatoes
  • - 1 tbsp. rice
  • - 2 tbsp. fat milk
  • - spices (pepper, salt, dried mint, nutmeg)

Instructions

Step 1

Beat one egg into a shallow bowl and beat with salt and 3 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil. Add pre-sifted wheat flour and knead to an elastic dough. Roll it into a ball, cover with a cloth and let it "rest" for 15-20 minutes.

Step 2

Next, prepare the filling. To do this, peel and boil the potatoes, make mashed potatoes from them, be sure to add a little hot milk. Boil rice until half cooked (7-10 minutes) and combine it with cooked puree, add olive oil, nutmeg, mint, salt and season with pepper.

Step 3

Grease a round baking dish generously with olive oil. Roll out the dough into a large round layer and place it in the mold so that the edges hang down a little. Spread the filling evenly. Wrap the protruding edges of the dough inward, and brush the entire pie with a beaten egg and butter.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the patatopita for 45 minutes.
