These cookies are made with the addition of lemon zest and juice, as well as the infusion of Milky Oolong green tea. It turns out to be a very tasty combination for a family tea party. Making cookies is very simple.
It is necessary
- - 1 glass of flour;
- - 110 g butter;
- - 60 g of sugar;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of green tea;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of lemon zest;
- - 1 teaspoon of lemon juice;
- - a pinch of salt and soda.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the lemon, wipe it dry, rub the zest on a fine grater to make about 1 tablespoon. Grind the tea leaves if you have them in bulk. If you take disposable tea bags, then you do not need to grind the tea leaves beforehand.
Step 2
Mix a glass of wheat flour with salt and baking soda in a deep bowl, add tea leaves.
Step 3
Separately whisk the room temperature butter and sugar together with a whisk. Add lemon zest and lemon juice, beat together until lightweight.
Step 4
Add flour in two steps to the creamy mass, knead the dough for lemon cookies. Form a flat sausage from the dough, wrap it in plastic wrap, put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour. You can put it in the freezer, then 30 minutes will be enough.
Step 5
Remove the dough sausage from the refrigerator, cut it into 6-7 mm thick washers. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. You can also bake cookies in a large form.
Step 6
Cook the Milk Oolong Lemon Cookies for 15-20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Cool slightly and transfer from a baking sheet to a bowl. Serve with tea.
