Homemade apple wine turns out transparent, tasty, aromatic. Cooking does not require much effort, only patience is needed, as wine takes time. But then you can surprise your guests with a bottle of a fragrant drink. The taste of the wine is not very sweet, but pleasant, the strength is 10-14 degrees (depending on the aging time).

  • 10 kg of apples,
  • 1.4 kg of sugar.

Step 1

We wash the apples well. Squeeze out apple juice. From the specified amount, about 7 liters of juice will be obtained.

Step 2

Pour the juice into a large saucepan or any other container. Add sugar and mix well until sugar is completely dissolved. We leave the juice with sugar for a day.

Step 3

After a day, pour the apple juice into large bottles, fill it by three quarters. We put a water seal on each bottle.

Step 4

We put the bottles in a secluded dark place and leave for a month and a half. All this time, the fermentation process will go on. If you put the bottles in a warm place, the fermentation process will end much earlier.

Step 5

After the bubbles in the seals are over, we take out the bottles and carefully drain the liquid. Leave sediment on the bottom of the bottles. We filter the drained liquid through three layers of gauze. If desired, you can strain the sediment.

Step 6

Pour the wine into clean and dry bottles again, install a water seal and put it in a dark place for 14 days. Then we remove the water locks, and tighten the bottles with lids.

Step 7

We check the wine, it should acquire the color of strong tea, and the bubbles should not stand out.

We filter the wine, do not forget to leave a sediment.

Step 8

As a result, we get 6 liters of apple wine. If you wish, you can treat guests, but it is better to leave the wine for another month and a half under airtight lids. During this time, it will ripen and become more aromatic and strong. It is advisable to store wine at a temperature of 12-14 degrees, no longer than two years.
