It happens that cooked caviar sandwiches have lost their appeal. Proven recipes for returning freshness will come to the rescue. Refreshing caviar does not at all mean making a fresh product out of a rotten product, so the maximum that a hostess can do is to return its former attractiveness and appetizing to a product that has become a little windy.
It is necessary
-
- mineral water;
- vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Separate dried and deformed eggs from dense ones. As a rule, the top dried layer acts as a kind of crust, under which the bulk of the delicacy still retains its properties.
Step 2
When you take out the "substandard", place these eggs in a plastic or glass container, preferably transparent - to control the process.
Step 3
Open a bottle of mineral water, it is better to take the famous "Narzan" or "Borjomi". Pour mineral water into a container with caviar at the rate of 1 tablespoon of water for 5 tablespoons of caviar. The liquid should not "drown" the eggs, but only slightly moisten them. Do not use previously opened water, the gas from which has already escaped - the effect will be minimal.
Step 4
Use a wooden or plastic stick to stir the caviar in the container so as not to crush it. Leave the caviar for a quarter of an hour under a tightly closed lid, and then drop a couple of drops of vegetable oil into the container.
Step 5
Please note that olive oil, which is so popular today, is not recommended; upon contact with caviar, it gives an unpleasant bitterness, which is almost impossible to get rid of.
Step 6
Stir the caviar and leave again under the lid for 15-20 minutes. The product is ready for use again.
Step 7
Some housewives recommend refreshing the caviar with vinegar and pepper, but in fact this is strictly prohibited. Such a mixture literally eats away at the shell of any kind of caviar, and therefore as a result you will only get an oily porridge, and not mouth-watering caviar. It is difficult to say how such a recipe could have been born; most likely, it is a Soviet modification of "soy refreshment". Take three quarters of soy sauce, mix with a quarter of water and hold large caviar in this solution for 5 minutes. Rinse the caviar, drip a little vegetable oil into it, and then fold it on a towel.
