You can also defrost chicken right in the refrigerator. If you put the meat on the bottom shelf and time it correctly, you can achieve complete defrosting by the beginning of the cooking process. Defrosting can take from 3 to 24 hours, depending on the weight of the meat to be defrosted.

There is also such a way to defrost: put the chicken in a saucepan and place it under running water. The time for such defrosting is calculated as follows: 1 kg - 1 hour.
