Homemade burgers are a great way to teach children to eat vegetables, and if it is cooked in the form of a funny beetle, then the child will eat the mega sandwich with great appetite and pleasure.
It is necessary
- For cutlets:
- - 500 g of various minced meat;
- - 1/2 bunch of green onions;
- - a clove of garlic;
- - a tablespoon of hot mustard;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 6 tablespoons of bread crumbs;
- - a tablespoon of ground sweet pepper;
- - vegetable oil;
- - salt;
- - pepper
- For the dish:
- - 6 large burger buns;
- - 2 heads of mini-novel salad;
- - 10 cherry tomatoes;
- - a pod of red and 2 pods of yellow pepper;
- - ketchup;
- - mayonnaise;
- - green onions (for antennae);
- - toothpicks
Instructions
Step 1
For a burger, soft round buns or sesame buns are best. Cut the wings out of the top halves of the buns, but the "head" should not be detached.
Step 2
Cut two tomatoes in half. Put a drop of mayonnaise on each half and glue it to the bun - these will be the eyes.
Step 3
Wash the bell peppers, peel and cut out the mouth and legs. Attach the mouth with a toothpick.
Step 4
Place the feet on the bottom half of the bun, spreading them evenly.
Step 5
Peel the garlic and onion. Chop the onion into thin slices, and chop the garlic very finely.
Step 6
For the preparation of minced meat for children, it is best to use lean parts of meat with a minimum fat content: for beef - rump, tenderloin, pulp; poultry - fillet; pork - loin, tenderloin.
Step 7
Combine all ingredients for cutlets and knead well. Blind six thin patties with wet hands.
Step 8
Preheat a skillet to medium heat. Pour some vegetable oil into it and fry the patties on both sides. Dry on a napkin.
Step 9
Spread the cutlets and lettuce on the buns. Add ketchup and mayonnaise to taste.
Place the wings on the salad (you can fix it with toothpicks).
Step 10
Decorate the wings with ketchup dots and finally stick in the antennae from the onion.
