Why it is necessary to keep a certain set of foods in the refrigerator
Sometimes the shelves of the refrigerator are simply bursting with food, and the question of what to cook remains unresolved. The result of this is another trip to the store, where everything you need for the evening is bought, and the rest of the products may remain unclaimed, and then they are thrown away. All this leads to an increased waste of money on food.
In order to somehow minimize costs, shrewd housewives came up with the idea of keeping a certain set of products in the refrigerator, from which you can prepare a very quick and tasty dish for any family.
What foods should always be in the refrigerator
First of all, these are eggs. You can keep them in a special compartment of the refrigerator or a box, a dozen eggs will not take up much space. From them you can cook simple scrambled eggs with any sausages or vegetables that are in the refrigerator at that moment.
To diversify the menu, it is better to always keep in stock fresh milk (small bag), butter, cheese. Omelettes, casseroles, sandwiches - this is not the whole list of dishes that are prepared on the basis of these products. For the preparation of cheese cakes, meatballs and puddings, cottage cheese is useful, especially since it is an excellent source of calcium.
The freezer should always contain meat, fish, chicken and frozen vegetables. You can pre-cook or purchase semi-finished products, for example, cutlets or dumplings, so that you can simply boil or fry them at any time. Soup sets, which are used to prepare rich broths, will not be superfluous.
Do not forget about fresh vegetables and fruits, which are usually kept in the refrigerator: the hostess should have potatoes, onions, carrots and beets at hand. For the preparation of salads, you can stock up on cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, herbs. Of course, fruits and some vegetables spoil quickly, so you don't need to make large supplies.
Vegetable oil, mayonnaise, soy sauce (if it is often used in the family), various canned food: stew, green peas, canned corn, beans, fish in oil or sauce should always be stored in the side compartment of the refrigerator. If you don't have enough time, you can make a light soup or salad from them.
The basic set of products must be constantly replenished, so it is best to make a list where you can mark what is running out, what needs to be purchased.
